youngWith our four hundredth anniversary fast approaching, it is essential that Foyle and Londonderry College retains its rightful place at the forefront of educational development in the City and Province. The College has always taken pride in educating and equipping its young people to meet the challenges of life and our aim is that it will continue to do so for the next four hundred years, and beyond. To that end, plans are now well advanced to build a new school on a prestigious thirty two acre site at Clooney in the Waterside.

As the Headmaster has commented, the limitations placed on the College by adherence to the Department of Education Building Handbook, which defines what accommodation we can expect, restricts us in what we would wish to provide for our pupils.

As a former pupil, current or past parent, or merely someone who wishes to retain the ethos and qualities that have existed for almost four centuries, we hope you will support us in our aspiration to continue to provide quality education across an expanding curriculum, appealing to the same wide constituency.

Our aim is to raise sufficient funds to supplement the design with a range of facilities that will enhance the campus, offering Foyle as a “must have” option for all prospective pupils. Plans and targets are currently being formulated and we will update this in due course.

I look forward to hearing from you and if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the College Bursar, Neil Stewart, or myself. Alternatively you can visit our website at www.foyle-lderry.org.uk where regular updates will be available.
